Italian Jain Pasta:
Ingredients:
1. 1 cup Whole Wheat Pasta
2. 1 large ripe Tomato
3. 2 cloves of Garlic
4. A handful of fresh Basil leaves
5. 2 tablespoons extra virgin Olive oil
6. Salt and Pepper to taste.
Instructions:
1. Start boiling the pasta until it is al dente.
2. Meanwhile, chop the tomato and garlic.
3. Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame, add chopped garlic.
4. Briefly sauté the garlic and then add the chopped tomatoes.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Cook until the tomatoes are softened and the flavors meld.
7. Drain the pasta, reserving a bit of the pasta water and mix it into the garlic-tomato sauce.
8. Cook for about two more minutes and add the fresh basil leaves at the end.
