Eggiterian Delight in Mustard and Banana Leaf

Ingredients:
– Mustard Paste (20 gm)
– Banana Leaf (1 pc)
– Egg (1 pc)
– Oil (to brush the banana leaf)
– Salt (to taste)
– Curry Leaves (4-5 leaves)
– Turmeric Powder (a pinch)
Instructions:
1. Whisk a raw egg and add salt, turmeric, and curry leaves to it.
2. Warm the banana leaf to keep it flexible.
3. Now brush the leaf slightly with oil and spread it with a thin layer of mustard paste.
4. Pour the whisked egg on it.
5. Wrap it from all sides and tie a knot using a thin strip of the banana leaf.
6. Pour water in a steamer and place the wrapped egg in it.
7. Steam it for approximately 10-15 minutes. Ensure the egg is thoroughly cooked.
8. Remove from the steamer and allow to cool.
9. Unwrap the banana leaf and you will have the aromatic and flavorful egg dish ready to serve.
Note: Be careful while unwrapping the leaf and consuming the egg dish. Don’t eat the leaf.
