Ingredients:
– 600g of chicken
– 2 cups of Basmati Rice
– 100g of butter
– 2 tomatoes
– Spices: Turmeric, Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala.
Procedure:
1. Marinate the chicken in a mixture of turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt for about an hour.
2. Melt the butter in a pan and saute the marinated chicken pieces until they turn golden brown.
3. Blend the tomatoes to a puree and add it to the pan. Stir well and cook on a medium heat until the chicken is fully cooked.
4. In another pot, boil the Basmati rice with a pinch of salt until fully cooked.
5. Now, mix the cooked rice with the butter chicken. Stir gently to ensure the rice gets covered with the gravy evenly.
6. Finally, sprinkle some garam masala and stir again. Your Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice is ready to serve.
