Ingredients:
1 cup Poha (flattened rice),
1/2 cup sliced Mushrooms,
1 finely chopped Onion,
1 Green Chilli,
1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder,
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil,
Salt to taste,
1 tablespoon Mustard Seeds,
2 tablespoon Lemon juice,
Handful Coriander leaves for garnish.
Instructions:
– Rinse poha in water until it becomes soft. Drain the excess water and set aside.
– Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, let them splutter.
– Add chopped onion and green chilli, sauté until onion turns golden brown.
– Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan, cook until they are tender.
– Sprinkle turmeric powder and salt, mix well.
– Add the softened poha to the pan and mix gently.
– Turn off the flame, add lemon juice and mix well.
– Garnish with coriander leaves. Your one-bowl of Mushroom Poha is ready to serve.
